The Indian festivals are related to nature mainly Uttarakhand festivals such as-
1-
Harela Festival-The
Harela Festival celebrated in the month of Shravan (between July-August)
i.e. Karksakranti. Harela Festival
celebrated to pray the god for greenery and it is based on agricultural
activities.
2-
Baisakhi-
Baisakhi festival is mainly celebrated in Punjab (Sikh
mainly celebrate Baisakhi Festival). Baisakhi is celebrated when
the crops are harvested in a good amount. So, we said thanks to god because
our crops are harvested in a good manner.
3-
Ganesh Chaturthi- Ganesha Chaturthi is one of the favorite festivals
of Hindu religion, this festival celebrates the birth anniversary of Lord
Ganesha is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati the devotees of
Lord Ganesha believes that he blesses them with wisdom and prosperity people celebrate
this festival every year the festival starts on Shukla Chaturthi which is the
4th day of the waxing moon period and ends on the fourteenth day of the waxing
moon period which is known as Anantha chato deshi a clay statue of Ganesha is
